Venture capital firms are an important part of the innovation and business landscape, investing in startups and helping them grow throughout their life cycle. Despite the impact that venture capital firms have, there is very little understanding of how they operate and how they create value.

In this program, we'll take a look at the world of venture capital and get an inside view of how venture capitalists source deals, select investments, manage portfolio companies post-investment, and manage their relationships with limited partners (who provide the capital VCs invest).

  • In 2022, the total venture funding amounted to $415.1 billion, according to CB Insights.
  • VCs raised a total of $162.6 billion across 769 funds in fresh capital in 2022, according to PitchBook-NVCA data.
  • The global VC investment market had a value of $233.9 billion in 2022 and is expected to reach $708.6 billion by 2028, growing at an estimated CAGR of 21.75% during 2023-2028.

No prior VC / investment experience is needed

Over the course of five weeks, you will receive actionable advice and takeaways from top venture capitalists, meet other participants including founders, angel investors, ecosystem builders, and Gen Zers and students trying to break into VC. You'll also work toward emotional support, learning, and bonding.

Program Schedule

You can expect to spend 2-3 hours each week, including attending a live class held at a specific time, going through educational resources, and 30 minutes on an accountability group call.
